About the webinar

ADR practitioners are not usually trained on how to interact with neurodiverse or Autistic parties in their ADR practice and may be unfamiliar with the common communication traits of Autistic people. Little is known about how Autistic parties experience the ADR process and what some of the common challenges are for them. This presentation will share some key insights from a pilot study on the experience of Autistic persons who participated in mediation processes, including the challenges they faced and what could have been done to improve their experience thereby improving access to justice.
